Description: At a middle school science fair, Wednesday Addams prepares to present her experiment. However, she becomes frustrated when her family—Gomez, Morticia, and Pugsley—shows up. During her presentation, she uses the DNA of her pet squid, Socrates, on Uncle Fester to demonstrate how humans can be enhanced. The experiment succeeds, but Wednesday is disappointed when she discovers that everyone received a participation trophy instead of a meaningful prize. Despite this, her work catches the attention of scientist Cyrus Strange, who praises her brilliance via a holographic message. Meanwhile, Pugsley tries to impress girls by tampering with another student’s volcano project, but it results in chaos in the gym, causing everyone to flee.
Back home, both Wednesday and Pugsley refuse to join the family for dinner. Fester attempts to help Pugsley with his romantic endeavors, while Wednesday sends her parents a detailed note explaining her absence. Concerned that the children are growing distant, Gomez decides to take the family on a road trip.
The family embarks on their journey in a peculiar vehicle, accompanied by Thing, Fester, Lurch, and the kids, while Grandmama stays behind to look after the house. Before they leave, a lawyer named Mr. Mustela approaches Gomez and Morticia, suggesting that Wednesday might have been switched at birth and may not truly be an Addams. Dismissing the claim, the parents assume it’s a ploy by Wednesday to avoid the trip, though she denies knowing the man.
As the family travels, Mustela and his henchman, Pongo, follow them. Initially heading to Salem, the trip takes a detour to Niagara Falls after Fester becomes obsessed with water due to the mutations caused by Wednesday’s squid experiment. Pugsley, following Fester’s advice, tries another pickup line on girls—but it falls flat.
Grandmama, left alone at home, throws a wild party. Meanwhile, the Addams family’s adventure continues, filled with quirky misadventures and unexpected twists.
