Description: Rohan Sachdev, a middle-class student at Pishorilal Chamandas College, decides to transfer to St. Teresa’s High School, a prestigious institution for the wealthy and talented, after his childhood sweetheart, Mridula Chawla, enrolls there. Securing a scholarship, Rohan is thrilled. Mridula, now calling herself Mia, initially distances herself from Rohan in her pursuit of fame. However, their bond rekindles when Rohan impresses the college with his athletic abilities.
Rohan befriends Manav Singh Randhawa, a popular and affluent student who holds the title of Student of the Year. However, Rohan clashes with Manav’s sister, Shreya, a mean-spirited girl who despises him and repeatedly humiliates him. Her pranks escalate when she tricks Rohan’s friends from Pishorilal into attending Manav’s birthday party, where they are ridiculed. This causes a rift between Rohan and his old friends.
In an effort to mend fences, Rohan approaches Shreya after one of her pranks backfires, but she rejects his sympathy. Meanwhile, Rohan and Mia, along with Manav and Shreya, pair up for an upcoming dance competition. Mia is determined to win to boost her popularity, while Shreya aims to secure her dream of attending a dance academy in London. Manav and Shreya emerge victorious after Mia falters during a critical moment.
When Rohan tries to comfort Mia, he discovers her in an intimate moment with Manav. Realizing that Manav had manipulated Mia to sabotage Rohan’s performance, Rohan punches Manav in a fit of rage. As a result, Rohan is expelled from St. Teresa’s and beaten up by Manav’s friends. Despite feeling betrayed by Mia, Rohan regains his resolve and challenges Manav, vowing to win the Student of the Year title himself.
