Description: Mehul, played by Subhashree Ganguly, develops strong feelings for her tutor, Babaida (Ritwick Chakraborty). Convinced that her emotions are mutual, she eagerly anticipates his confession. During Holi, while she waits on the terrace with abeer and vermillion, Babaida introduces Sayantika as his new girlfriend. He applies the abeer and vermillion to Mehul, emphasizing that she must now care for both him and his partner. Heartbroken, Mehul distances herself from Babaida. One day, he hands her a letter in distress, which she reluctantly accepts. Three months later, she learns of Babaida’s tragic suicide. Overwhelmed by grief, she breaks down after seeing his body.
Four years later, Mehul works at a government job with a modest salary, supporting two households—her own and Babaida’s, where his bedridden mother resides. Encouraged by her colleague Ananda, she interviews at a prominent corporate company named Unicorn and secures the position. On her first day, she meets her boss, Ranadeb (Gaurav Chakrabarty). Mehul transforms her appearance, adopting a bold and provocative style that captures Ranadeb’s attention. Meanwhile, Babaida’s mother passes away. During a dinner invitation, Ranadeb attempts to seduce Mehul, but their encounter is interrupted by a call from his wife—Sayantika, Babaida’s former girlfriend. When Mehul confronts him, Ranadeb becomes aggressive and attempts to assault her, but she manages to escape.
Later, Mehul arrives at a police station barefoot, with torn clothes and disheveled makeup, suggesting she was assaulted. The truth behind Babaida’s suicide is revealed through the letter he left her: Babaida and Sayantika had been college friends and interns at Unicorn, where a dark series of events unfolded.
