Gunnar’s wife, Ingrid, works as a hotel staff member and translator. While interpreting a speech by Narvik’s mayor for German representatives, she spots her husband in the crowd. Overwhelmed with happiness, she rushes to greet him after the meeting. Though Gunnar’s stay is brief, the couple cherishes their time together, finding solace in his presence before he returns to duty.
