**Plot Summary:**
Set during a cricket tournament in the Middle East, the story begins 48 hours before the final match between India and Pakistan. India’s star cricketer, Viraj Sharma (Saqib Saleem), mysteriously disappears. The Indian authorities receive a video from an unidentified man claiming responsibility for the abduction. He warns them not to cancel the match and demands that it proceed as scheduled. To avoid public outrage, India’s External Affairs Minister, Gayatri Shubha Mishra (Mona Ambegaonkar), assigns Kabir Shergill IPS (John Abraham), a no-nonsense special task force officer, to investigate the case in the UAE within 36 hours.
Upon arrival, Kabir clashes with a local officer, Saeed Naqvi (Tarun Khanna), before meeting Junaid Ansari (Varun Dhawan), a rookie Indo-Emirati police officer. Despite his inexperience, Junaid has extensive knowledge of the city, acquired during his incomplete first case—finding a lost dog named Bradman.
Kabir and Junaid start their investigation by reviewing CCTV footage from Viraj’s hotel. They discover that on the night of his disappearance, Viraj left with a local girl, Samira Dalal (Nargis Fakhri). After questioning her, they learn she took him to a friend’s birthday party, but he left shortly after. The duo then seeks out a local informant, Khabri Chacha (Vijay Raaz), who directs them to Sameer Gazi (Akshay Kumar), a notorious party-goer who met Viraj at the event. However, they find no significant leads.
The breakthrough comes when they track Viraj’s cellphone to the apartment of a pickpocket, Ishika (Jacqueline Fernandez), who claims she stole the phone from a stranger at a supermarket. Meanwhile, Junaid finally locates Bradman and attaches a tracker with a hidden camera to ensure he never loses him again.
The film follows a suspenseful journey as Kabir and Junaid race against time to uncover the truth and rescue Viraj before the crucial cricket match.
