Description: Rahim Soltani is granted a temporary two-day release from prison to settle a debt of 150,000,000 tomans owed to his brother-in-law, Bahram. Rahim’s partner, Farkondeh, finds a lost handbag containing gold coins, which they attempt to sell to repay the debt. However, the value of gold has dropped, making it impossible for Rahim to fully repay the amount. During this time, he stays with his sister Malileh and her husband Hossein.
Malileh discovers the handbag and coins, prompting Rahim to search for the owner and return the lost items. When the owner retrieves the handbag, Rahim gains media attention and public praise for his honesty. He returns to prison as a local hero, though Bahram remains skeptical, believing Rahim’s actions are a ploy to improve his image and prevent his ex-wife from remarrying. The prison authorities begin arranging Rahim’s release.
At a charity event organized to raise funds and secure employment for Rahim, Bahram becomes furious upon learning that only a fraction of the debt has been collected. He reveals that Rahim originally borrowed the money from him, which Bahram himself had obtained from a loan shark. Despite his frustration, Bahram agrees to Rahim’s release for the sake of Rahim’s son, Siavash.
As Rahim begins applying for a new job, rumors surface questioning the authenticity of his story about finding and returning the handbag. Determined to clear his name, Rahim searches for the woman who owned the bag to confirm his account, but his efforts prove unsuccessful.
