Description: Zed and Addison are entering their final year at Seabrook High, a town that has turned into a safe place for both humans and monsters. Zed is hopeful for an athletic scholarship, which would make him the first Zombie to attend college, while Addison is preparing for Seabrook’s first international cheer-off competition. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when extraterrestrial beings appear in Seabrook, creating more than just friendly rivalry. This is the premise of *Zombies 3*, the concluding chapter of Disney Channel’s *Zombies* trilogy.
Directed by Paul Hoen and written by David Light and Joseph Raso, *Zombies 3* (2022) follows a similar structure to the previous two films. In this installment, Zed (Milo Manheim) and Addison (Meg Donnelly) face new challenges during their senior year, this time involving aliens instead of zombies or werewolves. The movie begins and ends with the same animated sequences as its predecessors, and Addison once again struggles with her identity, trying to find her place in the world.
Familiar characters from the earlier films return, including Addison’s flashy cousin Bucky (Trevor Tordjman), the strong-willed werewolf leader Willa (Chandler Kinney), and Zed’s best friend Eliza (Kylee Russell), who appears via video chat while interning at Z-Corp.
As humans, zombies, and werewolves coexist in peace, they prepare for a major football game and the cheer-off organized by Addison. However, the sudden arrival of a UFO carrying blue-haired aliens, whose home planet was destroyed, disrupts their plans. Initially, panic spreads among the residents, but Addison remains calm and welcoming. The aliens claim they’ve come for the cheer-off, but it soon becomes clear that their true intentions are far more significant.
*Zombies 3* offers a mix of familiar elements and new challenges, making it a fitting conclusion to the beloved trilogy.
