Description: “Zila Ghaziabad” is a 2013 film inspired by real events, depicting the gang wars that took place in Ghaziabad, India, during the 1980s and 1990s. The story revolves around Brahmapal Choudhary, a corrupt chairman with ties to the gangster Fauji. When Brahmapal refuses to fund Fauji’s sister’s wedding, their alliance falls apart. Meanwhile, Brahmapal befriends Satbir, a teacher romantically involved with his daughter, Suman.
Furious at being replaced, Fauji allies with Rashid, a politician and Brahmapal’s adversary. Rashid manipulates Fauji into targeting Satbir, leading to violence and tragedy. When a village elder is shot during an altercation and Satbir’s brother is kidnapped and later killed by Fauji, Satbir seeks revenge. The situation escalates as riots erupt, prompting the police to deploy Thakur Pritam Singh, a feared officer, to restore order. However, his intervention worsens the conflict.
As elections approach, Satbir and Rashid compete, with Rashid emerging victorious. Fauji’s retaliatory attacks result in the death of Satbir’s wife, Suman, fueling Satbir’s thirst for vengeance. The cycle of violence continues, with Satbir determined to avenge his family’s suffering.
