Description: “Zero” (2018) is a Bollywood film that tells the story of Bauua Singh, a dwarf from Meerut who struggles to find a life partner. After several unsuccessful attempts through matrimonial agencies, he finally meets Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder, a scientist with cerebral palsy from the fictional organization NSAR (similar to NASA). Despite falling in love, Bauua ends their relationship after five months. However, Aafia seeks him out, and Bauua’s parents arrange their marriage. On their wedding day, Bauua learns he has been shortlisted for a dance competition, offering him a chance to meet Bollywood actress Babita Kumari. Determined to seize this opportunity, Bauua abandons the wedding, leaving everyone heartbroken.
Bauua wins the competition and meets Babita at a party, where he impresses her with his ability to read people’s minds. She offers him a job, and he assists her in reconciling with her ex-boyfriend, Aditya Kapoor. Meanwhile, Bauua shares his story with Babita, who fabricates a tale about her own family to help him realize his mistakes. Feeling remorseful, Bauua decides to reconcile with Aafia, leading to a confrontation at a party that results in Babita cutting ties with him and Aditya.
Bauua and his friend Guddu travel to New York, where Aafia is attending a seminar. Despite his efforts to reconnect, Aafia refuses to see him, and Bauua learns she was pregnant with his child. Heartbroken, Bauua contemplates leaving but decides to try one last time. When Aafia rejects him again at NSAR, Bauua joins a program to volunteer for a mission to Mars.
