Description: ACP Vijay Khanna is a dedicated and honest police officer who has been repeatedly transferred for relentlessly pursuing corrupt underworld criminals. Haunted by the murder of his parents years ago, he is constantly reminded of a man in a black raincoat, especially on his birthday. Vijay is assigned to investigate the brutal murder of a district collector, who was burned to death. Mala, the sole eyewitness, refuses to cooperate after witnessing the crime committed by Teja, the leader of an oil mafia.
Teva, determined to silence Mala, poses a threat to her life. Vijay eventually persuades her to testify, putting her in danger. He provides her shelter in his home to ensure her safety. Over time, Mala develops feelings for Vijay, though he remains distant. Her gestures, such as preparing meals for him and celebrating his birthday, irritate him. Vijay’s anger leads him to reveal that his parents were killed on that very day, explaining his reluctance to celebrate. Gradually, Vijay begins to reciprocate her feelings, realizing Mala’s growing importance in his life.
Vijay’s path also crosses with Sher Khan, a man involved in the illegal car trade. Inspired by Vijay’s integrity and determination, Sher Khan reforms and becomes an ally, vowing to support Vijay whenever needed. Additionally, Vijay meets Jaydev, a reporter who had previously criticized him in the press. Witnessing Vijay’s sincerity and commitment to justice, Jaydev becomes an admirer and assists him by providing crucial information about the oil mafia.
