Description: Theo Conroy, a retired banker married to actress Susanna, shares a daughter named Ella. One day, while trying to visit Susanna on set, Theo is refused entry. As he waits, he overhears her filming an intimate scene, which irritates him. Susanna later apologizes, blaming the incident on a misunderstanding and assures Theo he is now on the approved list. She jokes that people think he is dangerous since the security guard recognized him.
The couple decides to take a vacation in Wales, but their rental home is eerily unsettling. Time seems to pass unusually quickly, and they are plagued by disturbing nightmares. To their surprise, neither of them remembers booking the house. Strange occurrences escalate when Ella sees a shadowy figure on the wall.
As Theo writes in his journal, Ella asks Susanna why people dislike him. Susanna explains that Theo’s first wife drowned in the bathtub, and although he was acquitted of her murder, suspicions lingered. While running errands, a shopkeeper gives Theo a drafting triangle and advises him to measure right angles, leaving Theo puzzled.
Theo grows increasingly jealous and distrustful of Susanna. One night, he secretly checks her phone and laptop. Later, he dreams of a message in his journal: “You should leave. Go now.” The next morning, as Susanna and Ella play outside, Theo texts Susanna. To his shock, he hears her phone vibrate on the counter, discovering she has a secret phone. Confronting her, Susanna confesses to an affair with another actor. Theo asks her to leave for the night, and she goes to stay at a nearby inn.
