Description: Subramanyam, known as “Subbu,” is a highly ambitious and materialistic IIM graduate. He works under Pasupathi, who aims to acquire his rival Ramaiah’s company but fails. Using his wit and manipulative skills, Subbu convinces Ramaiah’s employees to sell their shares, marking a significant victory for Pasupathi. As a result, Subbu becomes engaged to Rhea, his boss’s daughter. During the engagement, Subbu’s childhood friend Rishi reappears in his life. Rishi is vibrant, carefree, and lives life to the fullest, contrasting starkly with Subbu’s calculated personality. At a pub, they meet Anandi, a free-spirited girl. Rishi shares his dream of traveling with Subbu to Doodh Kasi, a sacred lake in the Himalayas.
Subbu and Pasupathi believe they have successfully acquired Ramaiah’s company, but their confidence is shattered when they lose some shares, jeopardizing Pasupathi’s buyout. Enraged, Pasupathi threatens to fire Subbu and cancel his engagement to Rhea. Determined to fix the situation, Subbu approaches Ramaiah, who declines his offer. Feeling defeated, Subbu confides in Rishi, who suggests a trip to Doodh Kasi, much to Subbu’s frustration.
Subbu and Rishi discover that Anandi is lonely, with no family or friends. They befriend her, though Subbu remains focused on persuading her to sign over the shares. On their way to see Rhea, they encounter an injured girl on the road and rush her to the hospital. Despite their efforts, the girl succumbs to her injuries. Rishi is deeply affected by the incident, while Subbu moves on, prioritizing his goals over the emotional impact of the tragedy.
