**Storyline:**
NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons tries to recruit footballer Neymar into the Triple-X (xXx) program, but both are seemingly killed when a satellite crashes. Shortly after, a skilled team led by Xiang infiltrates a heavily guarded CIA office in New York City to steal “Pandora’s Box,” a device capable of controlling satellites to crash at specific targets. CIA Agent Jane Marke tracks down former xXx operative Xander Cage, who has been living in self-imposed exile in the Dominican Republic after faking his death. She convinces him to return and recover the device.
In London, Xander teams up with an old friend, Ainsley, and traces the attackers to the Philippines. At an RAF outpost in Lakenheath, a Special Forces unit led by Paul Donovan is assigned to assist Xander, but he prefers to form his own team. His group includes sharpshooter Adele Wolff , DJ Harvard “Nicks” Zhou, getaway driver Tennyson “The Torch,” and introverted weapons specialist Becky Clearidge.
The team locates Xiang and his allies Serena, Talon, and Hawk. Xander confronts Xiang in an underground nightclub on a remote island, where Xiang reveals his team are also xXx agents recruited by Gibbons. He claims to have stolen Pandora’s Box to prevent its misuse, though Serena believes it should be destroyed.
After a raid by Russian soldiers, Xiang escapes with the device. Xander chases him to a nearby beach, where Serena betrays Xiang, destroys the Box, and joins Xander’s team. Xiang escapes with Talon and Hawk. Following another satellite crash in Moscow’s Olympic Stadium, Marke discovers the destroyed device was a prototype, and both teams have been misled. Xander uncovers a conspiracy involving CIA Director Anderson, who possesses the real Pandora’s Box.
