**Storyline:**
After the events of *Wolf Warrior*, Leng Feng and his special-ops team return to his comrade’s hometown to deliver his remains to the family for the funeral. However, they find the town on the brink of destruction as a real estate company begins demolishing the comrade’s home during the ceremony. The company’s boss mocks the family and threatens them, only to be overpowered by Feng and his team. When the boss continues his threats, Feng retaliates, resulting in the boss’s death. Feng is sentenced to two years in military prison and discharged from the Chinese army.
Upon his release, Feng travels to Africa, intending to live a nomadic life. While working as a mercenary providing security for a relief supply freighter, he successfully thwarts an attack by Somali pirates through an underwater battle. During this time, Feng carries a bullet he discovered years ago—a clue linked to the kidnapping of his fiancée, Lieutenant Colonel Long Xiaoyun, who went missing during a mission.
One day, while celebrating with locals on a beach, Feng and the group are attacked by rebel forces attempting to overthrow the African government. As the rebels and mercenaries overwhelm the government troops, the Chinese fleet arrives to evacuate Chinese nationals caught in the conflict. During the evacuation, a Chinese shop owner Feng rescued informs him that the bullet he carries belongs to European mercenaries aiding the rebels.
