Description: Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey – 2023 Movie Overview
**Plot Summary:**
Several years ago, a young Christopher Robin formed a bond with a group of anthropomorphic characters – Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, and Owl – in the Hundred Acre Wood. However, as he went off to college, he stopped visiting them. Without Christopher to feed them or guide them, and with the harshness of winter setting in, Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl faced extreme hunger and tragically resorted to killing and consuming Eeyore. This harrowing act traumatized the group, fostering a deep-rooted hatred for humanity and Christopher for forsaking them. They made a pact to abandon their human traits and return to their primal instincts, vowing never to speak again.
Years later, Christopher, now grown, returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with his fiancée, Mary, in hopes of reconnecting with his childhood friends. To his dismay, the once vibrant area has turned desolate. Despite Mary’s warnings to leave, Christopher explores further, only to be confronted by Piglet, who brutally kills Mary with a chain. Traumatized, Christopher attempts to escape but finds himself trapped by Pooh and Piglet, who drag him deeper into the woods.
Not long after, a group of university students – Maria, Jess, Alice, Zoe, and Lara – rent a cabin in the Hundred Acre Wood as part of Maria’s therapy to overcome a previous trauma. One of Maria’s friends, Tina, gets lost en route to the cabin and is pursued by Pooh into an abandoned factory, where a horrific fate awaits her.
