**Storyline:**
Shizuku Tsukishima, a 14-year-old student at Mukaihara Junior High School, lives in a Tokyo suburb with her family, including her parents and older sister. Passionate about books, Shizuku discovers that all her library books were previously checked out by someone named Seiji Amasawa.
At school, Shizuku shares her creative adaptation of “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” which she humorously titled “Concrete Roads,” with her best friend Yūko. Yūko confesses her crush on Sugimura, a mutual friend of Shizuku’s. However, Shizuku’s attention is soon drawn to a mysterious boy who teases her about her song lyrics.
Intrigued by a cat she spots on her way to the library, Shizuku follows it to an antique shop run by Shirō Nishi. There, she encounters a cat statuette named The Baron and an ancient clock. This discovery fills her with excitement, as she feels she has found a place where stories come to life.
As school continues, Yūko is heartbroken when Sugimura asks her to respond to a love letter from his teammate. Shizuku confronts Sugimura, only to learn he has feelings for her. Disheartened, Shizuku returns to the antique shop, where she reunites with the boy who had previously teased her. She discovers he is training to become a master violin maker, pursuing his dream with dedication.
This heartfelt story explores Shizuku’s journey of self-discovery, creativity, and the pursuit of dreams.
