The story revolves around Vinci Da (played by Rudranil Ghosh), who inherits the skill of creating prosthetics from his father. The narrative begins with Adi Bose, a young man portrayed by Riddhi Sen, who tragically kills his abusive father with a cricket bat. Following the incident, Adi surrenders to the police and is sent to an asylum. Meanwhile, Vinci Da struggles to make a living after his father’s death, as his talent in prosthetic artistry goes unappreciated in the Bengali film industry, Tollywood. His romantic interest, Jaya, played by Sohini Sarkar, stutters, adding another layer to his complex life.
Years later, Adi Bose, now an adult and portrayed by Ritwick Chakraborty, is released from prison. He adopts the identity of a “serial lawyer,” committing crimes similar to those of convicted criminals to deliver his own twisted form of justice. To execute his plans more effectively, he approaches Vinci Da under the guise of a director. Adi tricks Vinci into creating a mask of Shyam Sundar Jaiswal, a businessman acquitted in a Rs. 2500 crore scam. Using the mask, Adi robs a bank and kills a security guard, leading to Jaiswal’s arrest. Vinci realizes the horrifying truth the next day and is devastated, especially by the death of the innocent guard. He struggles to reconcile how his art has been used for criminal purposes.
Adi, however, blackmails Vinci with footage of the mask-making process, forcing him to continue. Vinci is compelled to create another mask, this time of a politician’s son who was acquitted after driving over homeless people. Adi repeats the crime, framing the politician’s son. Overwhelmed with guilt and self-hatred after meeting the son of one of the victims, Vinci tries to convince Adi that he is not complicit in these crimes, but Adi remains unrelenting.
The film explores themes of morality, the misuse of art, and the consequences of justice taken into one’s own hands.
