Description: “Veronica” (2017) Movie in Spanish – Available in 720p and 480p.
The story begins in 1991 as emergency services receive a frantic call from a young girl screaming about her brother Antoñito and something coming to get him before the call abruptly ends.
The film then shifts back three days earlier. Verónica, a 15-year-old girl, lives with her mother and three siblings in Vallecas, a working-class neighborhood in Madrid. After the recent death of their father, their mother works long hours at a bar, leaving Verónica to care for her younger siblings: twins Lucía and Irene, and Antoñito. During a solar eclipse, her teacher explains how ancient cultures used eclipses for human sacrifices and summoning dark spirits.
Curious, Verónica, along with her friends Rosa and Diana, sneaks into the school basement to conduct a séance using an Ouija board. Verónica hopes to contact her late father, while Diana seeks to reach her deceased boyfriend. The plan goes awry when the glass on the board becomes too hot for Rosa and Diana to handle, leaving only Verónica in contact. At the peak of the eclipse, the glass shatters, cutting Verónica’s finger and spilling blood on the board. She whispers something repeatedly before letting out a terrifying scream and passing out. Upon waking in the nurse’s office, she is told she fainted due to low iron levels.
Soon, Verónica begins experiencing strange and terrifying paranormal events—she is unable to eat, unexplained claw and bite marks appear on her body, and she hears eerie noises. Her friends start avoiding her. Desperate for answers, she returns to the school basement, where she encounters the elderly blind nun known as “Sister Death.” The nun warns Verónica about the dangers of her actions and explains that a dark spirit has attached itself to her, urging her to protect her siblings. Despite the nun’s attempts to banish the spirit, it remains.
The story builds toward a chilling climax as Verónica struggles to confront the malevolent force threatening her and her family.
