**Storyline:**
Michael Idicula (played by Mohanlal) joins as the new vice-principal and foils Sameer’s plan to harm him. He quickly gains the trust of the teachers, including Mary (Anna Rajan), and earns the admiration of the students, particularly Sameer, who is praised for creating a short film. This leaves Franklin feeling disappointed as he expected Michael to befriend him.
One day, Michael meets Franklin’s father, Varkey (Prasad Mohammah), who is intoxicated and invites Michael to his home. There, Michael gets to know Franklin’s family better. Later, the physics teacher, Anumol (Sneha Sreekumar), decides to propose to Michael on Mary’s behalf. However, when they meet him at the local Latin church after morning Mass, they discover Michael is a priest, leaving them puzzled as to why he hasn’t married. Anumol and Mary abandon their plan, and Anumol instead asks Michael if he knows someone willing to marry Mary, which Michael agrees to help with.
Meanwhile, Michael successfully reconciles Sameer and Franklin and their gangs. They also meet Vareethettan (Alencier Ley Lopez), who has been serving Michael’s family for years. As vice-principal, Michael becomes well-liked by students and staff alike. When he proposes making a feature film to raise funds for building two hostels for the college, Fr. Kaattuparambu approves, with the condition that only Phoenix College staff and students participate in the film.
Michael reaches out to his friend, Malayalam film producer Vijay Babu, who agrees to join the project. Vijay feels the story is better suited for a short film, but Michael suggests the tale of Vishwan, a violent yet honest man who campaigned to build a college on land owned by Maathan Tharakan. Vishwan was killed by Maathan the day after the college’s cornerstone was laid, and his right-hand man, Kaaka Rameshan, was sent to jail. Vijay finds the story perfect and proceeds with the project.
