Description: Matias stumbles upon a laptop at a lost-and-found in a cyber café and decides to take it home. The device originally belonged to someone named Norah C. IV. Matias is developing a sign language app for his deaf girlfriend, Amaya, but she becomes frustrated because the app only helps her understand him, not the other way around. While using the laptop, Matias receives messages for Norah from a person named Erica. He joins a Skype call with his friends—Damon, A.J., Lexx, Serena, and Nari—but the computer keeps malfunctioning, causing frustration.
Eventually, Matias learns that Erica is actually Norah, who demands the laptop back. Before returning it, he notices a message about payment for a video, sparking his curiosity. He contacts a mysterious figure named Charon68, and his friends observe his actions. A.J. recognizes that Matias has accessed the dark web, and when Charon68 mentions trepanation, Matias becomes disturbed and ends the conversation.
Damon points out that “Norah C.” is “Charon” spelled backward. Matias discovers hidden videos on the laptop and investigates a street address linked to one of them, finding that Erica Dunne went missing from that location. Erica was being impersonated by Norah. Matias receives a video call from Amaya, but it’s actually Norah, also known as Charon IV, threatening to harm Amaya if the laptop isn’t returned.
When Nari attempts to contact the police, Matias claims it’s part of an alternate reality game he’s developing, easing his friends’ concerns but leaving Nari skeptical. Matias tries to reassure Amaya and promises to make an effort to learn sign language, convincing her to come over. Unbeknownst to him, Charon IV is secretly following her.
