Description: Underworld: Blood Wars (2016) is an action-packed film that continues the struggle between vampires and Lycans. The vampire covens are on the brink of extinction due to relentless attacks by the Lycans. Both factions are desperate to find Selene; the vampires seek retribution for Viktor’s death, while the Lycans, led by Marius, aim to capture her to locate Eve, whose blood is vital for creating a hybrid army of vampires and werewolves.
Selene is offered a chance for clemency by the Eastern Council, led by Semira, in exchange for training their new Death Dealers. However, Semira betrays her, poisoning Selene and framing her for a massacre. With Selene’s blood, Semira hopes to absorb her powers. A rescue attempt by Thomas and David ends tragically, with Thomas being killed, but David and Selene manage to escape.
They seek refuge at the Nordic Coven, where it is revealed that David is the son of High Elder Amelia, making him the rightful heir to the Eastern Coven. Meanwhile, Marius and his Lycans attack the Nordic Coven after being informed of Selene’s location by Alexia, Semira’s ally. Selene and David join forces with the Nordic vampires, led by Lena, to fend off the assault. Despite Selene’s efforts in combat, she is overpowered by Marius and wounded by Alexia. She maintains her innocence, claiming she does not know Eve’s whereabouts.
The film is a gripping tale of betrayal, loyalty, and the relentless battle between two ancient species.
