Description: Keng, a soldier stationed in a small rural town in Thailand, is tasked with investigating mysterious cattle killings in the area. During his assignment, he meets Tong, a local villager, and they form a close bond that evolves into a romantic relationship. Keng assists Tong with his job at an ice factory, and one night, they come across a sick dog on the roadside. After discovering the dog has cancer, they decide to seek treatment for it.
Their friendship grows as they spend time together, including a visit to a movie theater. Later, while sitting together, they meet an older woman who shares a tale about two farmers who lost their chance at wealth due to greed. Keng, Tong, and the woman spend the day exploring a cave and meeting her friends.
One evening, Keng and Tong ride through the city on a motorcycle, sharing a fleeting romantic moment before Tong mysteriously disappears into the night. Shortly after, Keng and his unit leave the village. Some time later, Keng hears rumors of a monster terrorizing the locals by killing their cattle.
