The film stars Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean as Carl and Yaya, a strikingly symmetrical fashion-model couple whose relationship is far from perfect. Carl is beautiful but insecure, embodying Gen-Z anxiety, while Yaya is equally stunning yet more pragmatic, often impatient with Carl’s emotional outbursts. Between modeling gigs, they embark on a luxury super-yacht trip—Yaya’s influencer status covering the expenses—where they attempt to maintain peace as long as Carl complies with Yaya’s demands for casual bikini photos.
The yacht’s other passengers are older, accustomed to their extreme wealth. Among them is Dmitry (Zlatko Buriić), a jovial Russian fertilizer millionaire; Therese (Iris Berben), a stroke-afflicted but sharp woman in a wheelchair; Jorma (Henrik Dorson), a socially awkward tech genius; and a refined British couple (Amanda Walker and Oliver Ford Davies) whose wealth stems from the munitions industry. Together, they navigate a world where privilege and crisis collide.
