Description: On the planet Montressor, young Jim Hawkins is fascinated by tales of the space pirate Captain Flint, known for his sudden attacks and ability to vanish without a trace, leaving his treasure hidden on the legendary “Treasure Planet.” As Jim grows older, he becomes a rebellious teenager, struggling with the abandonment of his father while helping his mother Sarah manage the Benbow Inn. After causing trouble with a rocket-powered sailboard, he is arrested by the police.
When a spaceship crashes near the inn, the dying pilot, Billy Bones, gives Jim a mysterious sphere and warns him to beware of a cyborg. Soon after, pirates attack the inn, forcing Jim, his mother, and their friend Dr. Delbert Doppler to flee. Jim discovers the sphere contains a holographic star map leading to Treasure Planet and decides to pursue the legendary treasure.
Doppler commissions the RLS Legacy, a ship commanded by Captain Amelia and her first mate Mr. Arrow. Among the crew is John Silver, a half-robot cook whom Jim suspects is the cyborg from the warning. Assigned to work in the galley, Jim forms a complicated bond with Silver and his shape-shifting pet, Morph.
During the journey, the ship encounters a supernova, and Jim saves the crew by securing their lifelines. However, the insectoid crew member Scroop betrays Mr. Arrow, cutting his lifeline and causing his death. Jim is blamed for the incident but finds solace in Silver’s support.
Upon arriving at Treasure Planet, Jim learns the crew are pirates led by Silver, and a mutiny erupts. Doppler, Amelia, and Morph escape, while Jim retrieves the map. Silver, unable to harm Jim, allows him to flee. The group is shot down, injuring Amelia, and they discover the map they have is actually Morph in disguise. The real map remains on the ship.
They meet B.E.N., a malfunctioning navigational robot with knowledge of Captain Flint and his treasure, but much of his memory is missing. Together, they continue their quest to uncover the secrets of Treasure Planet.
