Description: Shaurya, a call center employee, plans to elope with his girlfriend Noorie the day before her arranged marriage to someone else. Living in a bachelor pad, he seeks a new apartment for their future together. In his haste to find affordable housing, he moves into Swarg, a newly constructed but empty high-rise building due to legal issues. The lone watchman is unaware of Shaurya’s presence, and Noorie doesn’t yet know his new address.
The next morning, Shaurya accidentally locks himself inside the apartment. His attempts to break free fail, and faulty wiring cuts off the electricity. His phone dies before he can call for help, leaving him isolated and disconnected. As days pass, he battles starvation, dehydration, and claustrophobia. Desperate, he uses his blood to write “help” on cardboard with his address, dropping it onto a nearby terrace. A resident questions the watchman, who insists the building is empty. She investigates but gives up.
To survive, Shaurya eats cockroaches, ants, and pigeons, and even befriends a rat for companionship. When it finally rains, he collects water in containers. After nearly a week, his health deteriorates severely. In a final attempt to escape, he saws through the balcony gate with a metal sheet, climbing down five floors despite exhaustion. He reaches a floor without balcony gates and escapes, collapsing from weakness.
Hospitalized, Shaurya is later visited by Noorie, who reveals she married someone else, believing he had abandoned her. Heartbroken and traumatized, Shaurya struggles to return to normal life, only to realize his friends and colleagues hadn’t even noticed his absence, consumed by their own lives.
