**Storyline:**
Frank Martin has moved from southern France to Miami, Florida. As a favor to a friend, he temporarily works as a chauffeur for the wealthy Billings family. Jefferson and Audrey Billings’ marriage is strained due to Jefferson’s high-profile government job. Frank forms a bond with their son, Jack, whom he drives to and from school in his Audi A8 W12. Later, a tipsy Audrey visits Frank’s home and attempts to seduce him, but he politely sends her away.
Frank prepares for the arrival of Inspector Tarconi, his detective friend from France, who is visiting Florida for a holiday. When Frank takes Jack for a medical checkup, he discovers that the doctor and receptionist have been killed and replaced by impostors. A violent fight erupts between Frank and a group of thugs led by Lola. Despite being unarmed, Frank manages to escape with Jack. Upon arriving at Jack’s house, Frank receives a threatening call, forcing him to let Lola into the car. Frank evades pursuing police cars and takes Jack to a warehouse, where he encounters Gianni Chellini, the mastermind behind the operation.
Frank is forced to leave without Jack and discovers an explosive attached to his car, which he barely removes in time. Jack is returned to his family after a ransom is paid, but Frank and the Billings family are unaware that Jack has been injected with a deadly virus that can kill anyone he breathes on. Suspected by everyone except Audrey of being involved in the kidnapping, Frank, with Tarconi’s help, tracks down Dimitri, one of the impostors. Frank infects Dimitri with the same virus and allows him to escape.
