Description: Kenneth Zevo, the owner of Zevo Toys in Moscow, Idaho, is nearing the end of his life. In a surprising move, he names his younger brother, U.S. Army Lieutenant General Leland Zevo, as his successor instead of his son Leslie. While Leslie has spent most of his life working at the toy factory and has a deep love for the business, Kenneth believes his childlike nature could harm the company. To help Leslie mature, Kenneth had even hired Gwen Tyler, hoping she and Leslie would develop a relationship. After Kenneth’s death, Leland reluctantly takes over the company. Initially, he allows Leslie and his sister Alsatia to manage the factory due to their expertise in toymaking. However, when Leland learns about potential corporate leaks, he enlists his son Patrick, a military specialist, to handle security. Inspired by Patrick, Leland decides to develop war toys, despite Leslie’s reminder that Zevo Toys has never produced such items due to Kenneth’s aversion to war, which had strained their relationship. Meanwhile, Leslie begins a romantic relationship with Gwen.
During a night out, Leland and Patrick visit a local video arcade and toy store, where they observe children playing and discover the popularity of war-themed toys. On their way back, Leland has a realization: if military equipment could be miniaturized and controlled remotely, it could significantly reduce military expenses. This idea marks a turning point in his vision for the company.
