**Storyline:**
In 1964, a young boy named Frank Walker presents his jetpack prototype at the New York World’s Fair but is dismissed because it doesn’t work yet. A girl named Athena gives him an orange lapel pin with a blue “T” and invites him to join her on the “It’s a Small World” ride. When Frank follows her, the pin activates, transporting him to Tomorrowland, a futuristic city where advanced technology exists. Here, robots repair his jetpack, enabling him to fly and become part of this extraordinary world.
The story then shifts to Casey Newton, a hopeful teenager in the present day. Casey sabotages the demolition of a NASA launch site in Florida, where her father works as an engineer. After being arrested, she discovers a strange pin in her belongings. When she touches it, she’s momentarily transported to Tomorrowland, but the experience ends abruptly as the pin’s battery dies.
With her younger brother Nate’s help, Casey traces the pin to a Houston memorabilia shop. The shopkeepers attack her, demanding information about a “little girl.” Athena intervenes, revealing herself as an animatronic programmed to recruit individuals who embody Tomorrowland’s ideals. After escaping, Athena takes Casey to meet an older Frank in Pittsfield, New York.
Using a teleportation device, the three make their way to the Eiffel Tower. Frank explains that Tomorrowland was created by a secret society of visionaries, including Gustave Eiffel, Jules Verne, Nikola Tesla, and Thomas Edison. Seeking refuge from societal constraints, they built Tomorrowland in another dimension to foster scientific progress. The group then uses a hidden rocket beneath the Eiffel Tower, called the Spectacle, to return to Tomorrowland.
