The plot centers around Sampath, a newly assigned Sub-Inspector at Tamas Katte police station. Jenny comes to the station in distress, demanding help in locating her missing foster father, Toby. Driven to solve the case, Sampath conducts investigations, leading him to various individuals connected to Toby. Among them is Fr. Iglesias, who reveals that Toby lost his voice due to a past incident and had once stayed in a remand home under Iglesias’s care. The priest had attempted to find Toby employment, but their interactions were fraught with challenges.
Sampath also encounters Savithri, a sex worker who shares her complicated relationship history with Toby, and Damodar, a mortuary worker who speaks of his friendship with him. Additionally, Toby’s neighbor, Shalini, discloses that Toby was frequently used by the village chief, Anand, for illicit activities, which complicated his life in numerous ways.
As the investigation unfolds, Toby’s perceived betrayal leads to a series of dramatic confrontations, challenging assumptions of guilt and loyalty. Ultimately, Toby seeks redemption by confronting his past and making amends with those he has wronged.
