Description: Fawn is scolded by Queen Clarion for secretly keeping a baby hawk. After helping the hawk return to its home, Fawn hears a strange roar and discovers a massive, unusual creature in an underground cave. She tries to assist the beast, named Gruff, realizing it is not dangerous but instead moves rocks for building purposes. Fawn stays to observe Gruff and helps him construct structures around Pixie Hollow, though she doesn’t understand his motives.
Meanwhile, Nyx, an ambitious scout fairy, investigates the situation and learns from a torn book that Gruff is a creature that awakens every millennium. She discovers he transforms into a terrifying beast capable of destroying Pixie Hollow by triggering a deadly storm.
Fawn introduces Gruff to her friends, explaining he is friendly. She intends to reveal the truth to Queen Clarion, but Nyx informs the Queen first. Clarion encourages both fairies to work together to protect Pixie Hollow. Fawn decides to relocate and hide Gruff from the Scouts, while Nyx is determined to capture him to prevent the impending storm.
