Description: If you enjoy creepy and psychological horror, Spain has been delivering for the past two decades. Films like *Sleep Tight*, *Julia’s Eyes*, *The Skin I Live In*, *Veronica*, *The Orphanage*, and the *REC* series have terrified audiences worldwide. Now, *Tin & Tina* joins this list, making waves this week and sparking discussions on social media.
The story follows a young couple, Lola (Milena Smit) and Adolfo (Jaime Lorente), who tragically lose their twin children during pregnancy. After learning that Lola can no longer conceive due to a medical procedure, they return to Adolfo’s childhood home, where they decide to adopt from a local convent that cares for abandoned children.
At the convent, they meet Tin (Carlos González Morollón) and Tina (Anastasia Russo), siblings left at the gates years ago who resemble eerie figures from *The Village of the Damned*. While Adolfo is hesitant, thinking the children are too old and strange, Lola believes they deserve love like any other child and convinces him to take them in.
However, things take a dark turn. Tin and Tina’s playful behavior transforms into something sinister, and their obsession with sin, the Bible, and God’s word begins to tear the family apart. The couple’s lives are soon in danger as the twins’ disturbing actions escalate.
*Tin & Tina* explores themes of grief, faith, and the unsettling consequences of adoption when seemingly innocent children hide a chilling darkness.
