Among the victims are a football jock involved in hazing, a religious girl who participated in a racist podcast, and the protagonist, Makani, who hides a troubled past. The killer uses a unique method—a 3D-printed mask resembling the face of each victim—to instill fear. However, the film’s attempt to present itself as a modern take on the slasher genre falls short, weighed down by its lack of originality and depth.
