**Storyline:**
Moe, Larry, and Curly embark on a mission to save their childhood orphanage. During their efforts, they accidentally become entangled in a murder plot and end up as stars of a reality TV show. The film is structured into three short segments, reminiscent of the original Stooges series, yet they come together to form one cohesive story.
**Episode One – More Orphan Than Not**
The story begins at the Sisters of Mercy Orphanage, where the children are happily playing until Sister Mary-Mengele (Larry David) sternly orders them inside. As the children start singing to plead for more playtime, the nun interrupts and insists they go indoors. Suddenly, a car pulls up and leaves a gym bag on the orphanage steps. When Sister Mary-Mengele opens the bag, two fingers poke her in the eyes, causing her to fall. Another nun summons Mother Superior (Jane Lynch) and the other sisters, who discover baby Moe, Larry, and Curly inside the bag, each sporting their iconic hairstyles. The nuns instantly adore the boys and decide to raise them collectively.
Ten years later, the once-adored boys have become a handful for the nuns. In one memorable scene, they attempt to extract a tooth from Sister Mary-Mengele’s mouth. When the nuns learn that a wealthy couple is visiting, they hurriedly prepare the boys in hopes of having them adopted. The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Harter (Stephen Collins and Carly Craig), witness Moe, Larry, and Curly’s quirky performance but are ultimately charmed by a smaller, more endearing boy named Teddy. Despite this, they decide to adopt Moe. As he bids farewell to Larry and Curly, Moe takes keepsakes to remember them by—a chunk of Larry’s hair and a few of Curly’s nose hairs.
The film blends humor and heart as the Stooges navigate their unconventional journey, showcasing their signature antics while unraveling unexpected twists.
