Description: The Royal Bengal Tiger is a 2014 film about Abhi, a timid family man who struggles to stand up for himself. Living in Kolkata with his wife, Apu, and their son, Abhi faces challenges, including a tenant, Mr. Pakrashi, who hasn’t paid rent for six months. Despite being a dedicated worker at his office, Abhi faces sabotage from his jealous colleague, Deepankar, while his friend Nandini supports him.
On his birthday, Abhi confronts Pakrashi about the unpaid rent but is humiliated in public. At work, he discovers that someone has tampered with his files and a crucial payment document is missing. After a long night of effort, Deepankar undermines him again. Later, while returning with Nandini, she is harassed by goons at the metro station, but Abhi is unable to intervene, leaving him ashamed.
Abhi confides in his friend Anjan, who motivates him to overcome his fears. Together, they search the office for the missing file and end up ransacking it in frustration. Returning home, Abhi finds Pakrashi drinking with friends and finally confronts him, demanding the rent and asserting himself. The next day, Nandini taunts Abhi when he suggests taking the metro again. Later, Abhi and Anjan encounter the harassers at the station, and Abhi takes action to defend himself and others.
