Description: “The Princess Switch: Switched Again” is a 2020 film that continues the story two years after the events of the first movie. Stacy is now the Princess of Belgravia, while Margaret prepares to ascend to the throne of Montenaro following the king’s death and his son Howard’s decision to abdicate. Overwhelmed by the responsibilities of ruling, Margaret has ended her relationship with Kevin, who now runs a bakery with Olivia in Chicago.
Stacy unexpectedly visits Chicago on her way to Margaret’s coronation and discovers Kevin struggling with the breakup. Learning that Olivia never sent the RSVP for the event, Stacy convinces Kevin to reconsider and join her and Prince Edward on the trip, despite Edward and Stacy’s own strained relationship due to her focus on her royal duties.
Upon arrival, Kevin reunites with Margaret and helps her, Prince Edward, Stacy, and Olivia decorate the palace for Christmas. Margaret also feels remorseful about her breakup with Kevin. During an evening event, the two share a dance, only to be interrupted by Lady Fiona Pembroke, Margaret’s cousin. Unbeknownst to everyone, Fiona has nearly depleted her family’s fortune and uses her servants, Reggie and Mindy, to steal from the party guests.
Back at her run-down estate, Fiona devises a plan to impersonate Margaret, become queen, and plunder the royal treasury to secure her future. With Reggie and Mindy’s help, Fiona prepares by dyeing her hair, mimicking Margaret’s makeup, and studying the queen’s schedule to carry out her scheme.
