Description: Ahmad, an Iranian man, returns to France after four years to finalize his divorce with his wife, Marie. Upon arriving, he discovers that Marie has started a relationship with Samir, who owns a dry cleaning service, and that he will be sharing a room with Samir’s son, Fouad. At Marie’s request, Ahmad speaks to her daughter from a previous marriage, Lucie, who has been displaying troubled behavior. Lucie disapproves of Marie’s new relationship.
During the court proceedings to finalize the divorce, Marie reveals to Ahmad that she is pregnant with Samir’s child. Ahmad continues to counsel Lucie, hoping to help her accept the situation. Lucie then discloses that Samir is still married and that his wife is in a coma following a suicide attempt. She believes this was triggered by the discovery of Samir’s affair with Marie. However, Samir claims his wife’s suicide attempt was caused by an unrelated incident at his shop. To clarify the situation, Samir arranges for Naïma, an employee who witnessed both events, to speak with Lucie.
After hearing Naïma’s account, Lucie becomes distraught and confesses that she had forwarded Marie’s emails to Samir’s wife the day before the suicide attempt, after calling her at the dry cleaning shop. Lucie then disappears, prompting Ahmad and Samir to search for her. Ahmad eventually finds Lucie staying with a friend and convinces her to tell Marie the truth, emphasizing that Marie has a right to know, especially since she is now carrying Samir’s child.
Lucie reveals her actions to Marie, who becomes furious and tells Lucie to leave. Ahmad steps in to calm the situation, and Lucie returns home, bringing a sense of resolution to the family’s turmoil.
