Description: In 1986, Nick Parker and Elizabeth James meet aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2, fall in love, and marry. They soon have twin daughters, Hallie and Annie. Following their divorce, Nick takes custody of Hallie and raises her in California, where he owns a vineyard, while Elizabeth raises Annie in London, where she works as a wedding gown designer.
Eleven years later, in 1998, the twins are accidentally sent to the same summer camp. Initially, they develop a fierce rivalry. However, after being sent to an isolation cabin for a prank, they bond over shared interests. They soon discover they are twins separated at birth. Determined to reunite their parents, they decide to switch places. Each twin trains the other to act like herself.
In London, Hallie meets Elizabeth, the family butler Martin, and her grandfather. She learns about her parents’ love story. Meanwhile, in California, Annie meets Nick and their nanny, Chessy. She is disappointed to learn that Nick is engaged to Meredith Blake, who seems only interested in his wealth. Annie urges Hallie to bring Elizabeth to California to stop the wedding, but Hallie refuses. Chessy notices Annie’s differences but keeps her secret.
When Nick announces his wedding plans, Annie informs Hallie, and the twins work together to reunite their parents and disrupt the engagement.
