Description: The Other Woman (2014) is a comedic film about Carly Whitten, a New York attorney who starts a relationship with Mark King, a charming businessman. After two months of dating, Carly plans to introduce Mark to her father, but he cancels their dinner, claiming his Connecticut home flooded. Encouraged by her father, Carly decides to surprise Mark at his house, dressed in a provocative plumber’s outfit. To her shock, she is greeted by Mark’s wife, Kate, who Carly initially mistakes for the housekeeper. Embarrassed, Carly leaves in a hurry.
The next day, Kate visits Carly at her law firm, having found her contact details in Mark’s phone. Carly reveals that Mark has been unfaithful to both of them and assures Kate she was unaware of his marriage. Initially irritated by Kate’s persistent presence, Carly eventually bonds with her after a chaotic sleepover and an emotional conversation. Kate later discovers that Mark is still seeing another woman, leading her to suspect Carly of continuing the affair. However, they soon realize Mark is involved with a third woman, Amber, a swimsuit model.
Carly and Kate follow Mark to the Hamptons, where they stay at the home of Kate’s brother, Phil, who is immediately drawn to Carly. They spy on Mark and confront Amber on the beach, revealing his infidelity. United by betrayal, the three women team up to seek revenge on Mark.
