Description: In the animated film *Winx Club: The Mystery of the Abyss* (2014), the story unfolds with the Trix witches attempting to harness the power of the Emperor’s Throne in the Infinite Ocean. Their efforts fail, and they accidentally summon Politea, a cursed nymph. Politea reveals that the throne can only empower the true emperor, Tritannus, who is imprisoned in the Realm of Oblivion. The Trix strike a deal with Politea to free Tritannus, requiring the vital force of a young prince. Once freed, Tritannus agrees to retrieve the Pearl of the Deep, which will lift Politea’s curse and aid the Trix in their plans.
The Trix head to Gardenia to attack Bloom and her fiancé, Prince Sky. While Bloom and Sky manage to evade capture, the Trix seize Bloom’s pet rabbit, Kiko. When Sky tries to rescue Kiko, he is rendered unconscious and taken to the Infinite Ocean, where he is tied to the Emperor’s Throne. The Trix and Politea perform a ritual, summoning Tritannus. Politea leaves, warning the Trix not to reveal her involvement. Tritannus regains his memory with help from Icy, the Trix leader, and learns that the Pearl of the Deep is hidden by Omnia, a powerful nymph. Tritannus and the Trix set off to find Omnia’s cave.
Meanwhile, at Alfea College, Bloom’s friends join her on a mission to rescue Sky from the Infinite Ocean. They discover that Tritannus has blocked all gateways to the ocean except the Oblivion Portal. The Winx enter the portal and face a perilous dimension. Bloom finds herself in an empty void, confronted by a dark illusion that accuses her of abandoning Sky. Realizing they are in the Realm of Oblivion, Bloom wakes her friends, and they escape using a convergence spell. The group continues their quest to save Sky and thwart the Trix’s evil plans.
