Description: The 2022 movie *The Munsters* follows the story of mad scientist Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang and his hunchbacked assistant, Floop, who rob graves to gather body parts for an experimental creation. By mistake, Floop takes the head of comedian Shecky Von Rathbone instead of his brother Shelly, an astrophysicist whom Wolfgang wanted for his intelligence. Using electricity, Wolfgang brings the creation to life, and Floop names him “Herman Munster.”
Meanwhile, gypsy Zoya Krupp seeks revenge on her ex-husband, The Count, by manipulating his werewolf son, Lester, into convincing The Count to sell his Transylvanian castle for a casino and theme park. The Count dismisses Lester’s scheme. At the castle, The Count discusses his vampire daughter Lily’s love life after a disappointing date with Count Orlock. Later, they watch Dr. Wolfgang reveal Herman Munster on a TV show. Wolfgang is dismayed by Herman’s comedic antics, but Lily is instantly charmed by his quirky personality.
As Herman gains fame with Floop as his manager, Lily attends his performance with his band, “The Punk Rods,” at Zoya’s nightclub, Zombie-a-Go-Go. The two connect backstage and plan a dinner date at The Count’s castle. However, The Count dislikes Herman for his foolishness and schemes with his servant Igor to use a magic spell to eliminate him.
