Jibran and Leilani, a couple in a strained four-year relationship, constantly argue over various issues. On their way to a dinner party, they mutually decide to end their relationship. Distracted by their breakup, Jibran runs a red light and hits a cyclist. The cyclist refuses help and flees the scene. Suddenly, a mustached man claiming to be a police officer takes control of their car, stating the cyclist is a criminal. He chases and kills the cyclist by running him over multiple times.
The mustached man prepares to shoot Jibran and Leilani but flees upon hearing police sirens. The couple escapes the scene, debating whether to turn themselves in. Leilani fears their story won’t be believed and racial profiling will lead to them being blamed. They discover the cyclist’s phone, which shows a planned meeting with a woman named Edie. Hoping Edie can help identify the killer and clear their names, they meet her at a bar, only to fall into a trap. Edie and her husband Brett capture and threaten them, mistakenly believing they work for someone named Bicycle.
Jibran and Leilani manage to escape and head to an address they believe is Bicycle’s home, but it turns out to be an apartment full of fraternity boys. After overpowering one of them, they learn the boys are part of Bicycle’s blackmailing scheme. Before they can gather more information, the mustached man arrives and kills everyone in the apartment. The couple escapes with a blackmail envelope containing photos of people attending what appears to be a secret society meeting.
