Description: Kate (Alexandra Daddario) and Meg (Kate Upton) are longtime friends and roommates in Seattle, each facing their own challenges. Kate, a high school English teacher, feels stuck in her routine, pressured by Principal Moss (Rob Corddry) to consider a career change. Meanwhile, Meg, a cosmetics saleswoman, struggles to sell North Korean beauty products. After a stressful night of drinking, Meg suggests a vacation to rejuvenate their spirits. Though hesitant, Kate agrees, especially since Meg has already booked non-refundable tickets to Fort Lauderdale using Kate’s frequent flyer miles.
Rushing to catch their flight, Kate ends up in a window seat while Meg takes the aisle. The middle seat is occupied by Ryan (Matt Barr), a charming firefighter en route to a wedding. Both women are instantly drawn to him, engaging in playful flirting. However, Kate’s excessive use of anti-anxiety medication causes her to fall asleep. Mid-flight, a hurricane warning forces the plane to divert to St. Louis. The trio ends up staying at a local Sheraton, where Ryan invites them for drinks. Learning that the hurricane will delay his trip, the women try to lift his spirits with a dance competition. Before retiring for the night, Kate warns Meg that she plans to compete for Ryan’s attention.
The next day proves disastrous. During a hot air balloon ride, Kate’s fear of heights triggers a panic attack, while Meg accidentally injures the one-eyed pilot with a champagne cork. Later, Meg’s risky flip into a swimming pool leaves her with an eye injury. Their vacation takes an unexpected turn, testing their friendship and resilience.
