Description: Michele Silenzi is a shy thirteen-year-old boy from Trieste, living with his single mother, who works as a local police officer. Often ignored at school and bullied by classmates, Michele dreams of attending a costume party to get closer to his crush, Stella. However, the bullies steal the money he planned to use for a superhero costume, forcing him to settle for a cheaper outfit supposedly belonging to an obscure Chinese superhero with magical abilities.
At the party, Michele is humiliated when the bullies expose him secretly filming Stella on his phone. Devastated, he flees into the night, wishing the costume would make him invisible. To his surprise, his wish comes true. At first, he uses his newfound power for revenge against the bullies and to spy on his female classmates.
Soon, children at his school begin disappearing, and Stella is eventually kidnapped. A mysterious blind man reveals to Michele that he is his father and that both of them are part of a secret Russian group called The Specials, whose members possess extraordinary abilities. The missing children are part of a plan to locate Michele.
As Michele learns to control his invisibility, he escapes the group’s leader and helps rescue the kidnapped children. His father then erases everyone’s memory. The film concludes with a twist: the leader of The Specials is revealed to be Michele’s real mother. In the final scene, she is informed that while they failed to recruit Michele, they have located his sister in Morocco.
