Description: “The In Between” is a supernatural romance film released in 2022. The story follows Tessa, a teenage girl played by Joey King, who has spent most of her childhood in foster care and struggles to believe she deserves love. Her life takes a turn when she meets Skylar, portrayed by Kyle Allen, a romantic senior from a nearby town. Just as Tessa begins to open her heart, tragedy strikes when Skylar dies in a car accident, leaving Tessa devastated.
In the aftermath, Tessa becomes convinced that Skylar is trying to communicate with her from the afterlife. With the support of her best friend and a newfound belief that love transcends death, she embarks on a journey to reconnect with Skylar one last time, striving to give their love story the closure it deserves.
