Description: The Imposter is a 2012 movie available for download in English with 720p quality.
The story unfolds in a phone booth in Spain, where Bourdin calls the police, claiming to be a tourist who found a young boy inside the booth and urges them to collect him. He is taken to a children’s home, where he declares he is American. Requesting to stay in an office overnight to contact his family, he instead uses available records to reach out to various sheriff’s offices in the U.S., inquiring about missing children. Through one lead, he learns the name Nicholas Barclay and proceeds to impersonate him. Bourdin goes to great lengths to resemble Nicholas, including altering his appearance with tattoos and dyeing his hair blond.
Nicholas’s family is informed of the discovery, and his sister travels to Spain to bring him home. A court rules that Bourdin is indeed Nicholas, and he is declared a U.S. citizen. The sister takes him back to San Antonio, Texas, where most of the family accepts him as Nicholas, with the mother particularly eager to welcome and recognize him as her son.
Bourdin, who had a history of impersonating various children—real or fictional—further strengthened his claim by alleging he had been kidnapped and subjected to sexual abuse by Mexican, European, and U.S. military personnel, who allegedly transported him from the U.S. to Spain. His elaborate deception successfully fooled numerous officials in both Spain and the United States.
