Storyline:
Two years after the events in Bangkok, Leslie Chow escapes from prison during a riot. Meanwhile, Alan Garner causes a massive freeway accident after buying a giraffe, which is decapitated by a low overpass. Alan’s father, Sid, furious about the incident and Alan’s refusal to take responsibility, dies of a heart attack while reprimanding him. At the funeral, Alan’s brother-in-law, Doug Billings, informs his friends Phil Wenneck and Stu Price that Alan has been off his ADHD medication and is spiraling out of control. The group holds an intervention, and Alan agrees to seek treatment at a rehab facility in Arizona, but only if “the Wolfpack” accompanies him.
On the way to Arizona, their van is ambushed by a rental truck, and the group is taken hostage. They are confronted by mob boss Marshall and his enforcer, “Black Doug.” Marshall reveals that Chow, who had previously escaped, stole half of a $42 million gold heist. Since Alan is the only one who has stayed in contact with Chow during his imprisonment, Marshall believes the Wolfpack can locate him and retrieve the gold. He kidnaps Doug and gives the group three days to find Chow or face deadly consequences.
Alan arranges a meeting with Chow in Tijuana, Mexico, where Stu and Phil plan to drug him. However, Alan accidentally reveals their location, and Chow forces them to confess they’re working for Marshall. Chow then explains his plan to recover the stolen gold from the basement of his former villa in Mexico. Stu, Alan, and Phil break into the house, retrieve the gold, but Chow double-crosses them, locking them in the basement and escaping in Phil’s van.
After being arrested and mysteriously released, the group is picked up by a limousine and taken back to the villa, where they reunite with Marshall.
