Description: *The Hangover Part II* (2011) follows Stu Price, Phil Wenneck, Alan Garner, and Doug Billings as they head to Thailand for Stu’s wedding to his fiancée, Lauren. Lauren’s younger brother, Teddy, tags along. During the rehearsal dinner, Lauren’s father expresses his disapproval of Stu. Later, Stu joins Phil, Doug, Alan, and Teddy for a casual campfire gathering, where they toast to Stu and Lauren’s future.
The next morning, Phil, Stu, and Alan wake up in a grubby Bangkok hotel room, accompanied by gangster Leslie Chow and a capuchin monkey. Stu discovers a face tattoo resembling Mike Tyson’s, while Alan’s head is shaved. Teddy is missing, and all they find is his severed finger. Chow starts recounting the previous night but collapses after snorting cocaine. Believing him dead, the trio hides his body in the hotel’s ice box.
A tip from Doug leads them to a police station, where they expect to find Teddy but instead meet a silent elderly Buddhist monk. Clues guide them to a burned-down business and a tattoo parlor, revealing they started a riot. Returning the monk to his temple, they’re advised to meditate. Alan recalls they visited the White Lion strip club, where Stu had an encounter with a ladyboy named Kimmy. Outside, they’re ambushed by Russian mobsters who steal the monkey and shoot Phil in the arm.
