Description: In the town of Whoville, the human-like residents known as the Whos are filled with excitement as they prepare to celebrate Christmas. However, one individual remains unimpressed—the grumpy, green-furred Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small.” Living in solitude with his loyal dog, Max, the Grinch despises the holiday season. Meanwhile, a young girl named Cindy Lou Who notices her mother, Donna, struggling to manage the household while caring for her twin baby brothers, Buster and Bean. Cindy decides to write a letter to Santa Claus for help, but her plans take an unexpected turn when she encounters the Grinch.
When Cindy asks the Grinch for advice, he sarc suggests she speak to Santa face-to-face. Taking his words literally, Cindy attempts to travel to the North Pole. However, her mother explains that such a journey would take too long, so Cindy devises a plan to trap Santa instead. As Christmas draws near, the Grinch makes a clumsy effort to ruin a tree-lighting ceremony, which triggers a childhood flashback of him feeling lonely and unwanted in an orphanage. Consumed by bitterness, the Grinch resolves to steal Christmas from Whoville to ease his pain.
With the help of Max, the Grinch acquires a reindeer named Fred and steals a sleigh from his neighbor, Mr. Bricklebaum. After discovering that Fred has a family, the Grinch reluctantly lets him go. On Christmas Eve, the Grinch disguises himself as Santa and uses various gadgets to carry out his plan. While sneaking into Whoville to steal decorations and gifts, he falls into Cindy’s trap. Touched by her kindness and her plea to help her mother, the Grinch begins to feel a glimmer of compassion. Despite this, he struggles to let go of his lifelong resentment and continues his mission to ruin Christmas.
