Description: Gambir, a sculptor specializing in lifecasting pregnant women, impregnates Talyda Sasongko outside of marriage. At an abortion clinic, a man shares his experience of guilt after multiple abortions, which deeply affects Gambir. Overcome with emotion, Gambir carves the belly of one of his sculptures and places a fetus, named Arjasa, inside to make it appear “alive.” The couple later marries, and Gambir’s career flourishes, with Arjasa’s sculpture becoming his most celebrated work. However, Gambir remains haunted by guilt, leading to marital strife and erectile dysfunction. When he confides in Jimmy, an art gallery owner, about wanting to change his sculpting theme, he is threatened with exposure of Arjasa’s sculpture, which could result in criminal charges.
One day, Gambir discovers a locked door in his house. Talyda warns him that only she can enter it and that opening it would unleash overwhelming melancholy, destroying their marriage. Gambir begins finding messages pleading “help me” and referencing “Herosase.” After seeing his friend Dandung leave the Herosase building, Gambir inquires and is warned it’s not for the faint-hearted. Joining Herosase, he is instructed never to ask questions. Gambir is shown disturbing videos of rape, suicide, and a boy violently abused by his parents. Dandung explains the footage was recorded secretly by Herosase Inc., and nothing can be done to help the victims. The next day, Dandung claims the boy and his mother have died, leaving Gambir devastated.
At his sculpture exhibition, Gambir overhears Herosase members speculating that the boy’s parents were paid and predicting his death. Watching a Herosase video, Gambir witnesses the bloodied boy taking a chef’s knife and committing familicide.
