Description: The Expendables 3 (2014) is an action-packed film where Barney Ross leads his team on a high-stakes mission. The story begins when Ross and his team, including Lee Christmas, Gunner Jensen, and Toll Road, rescue their former member, Doctor Death, from a military prison. They recruit Doctor Death to help intercept a shipment of bombs destined for a Somali warlord. Upon arrival, they meet Hale Caesar, who guides them to the drop point. There, Ross discovers that the arms dealer is Conrad Stonebanks, a former Expendables co-founder thought to be dead. A fierce battle ensues, leaving Caesar severely injured, and the team is forced to retreat.
Back in the U.S., CIA operative Max Drummer assigns Ross to capture Stonebanks and bring him to the International Criminal Court for war crimes. Feeling responsible for Caesar’s injuries, Ross disbands the team and heads to Las Vegas, where he enlists Bonaparte, a retired mercenary, to help form a new, younger team. The recruits include John Smilee, Luna, Thorn, and Mars. Despite interest from sharpshooter Galgo, Ross declines his request to join.
The new team, along with Ross’s rival Trench Mauser, tracks Stonebanks to Bucharest, where he is set to make an arms deal. They infiltrate Stonebanks’ location, eliminate several targets, including arms buyer Goran Vata, and capture Stonebanks. During the mission, Stonebanks taunts Ross, revealing insights into his betrayal of the Expendables. This sets the stage for a dramatic confrontation in the action-filled movie.
